The distance gaping sin and the Savior,
Spacing between the shield of faith and the missiles of hellish fire,
Stands the must to see Christ in His trinitarian attire,
Concreting the daily must for agape and prayer.

There could still be “Judas”es stealing even in the presence of Jesus. (John 12:6)
We could still be “Judas”es stealing even in the presence of Jesus at times.
But don’t.
O Judas, the tragedy of your value miscalculation! The Pearl worth more than the entire universe sat in front of you and all you could see were perfume puddles. You grieved a year’s wages while squandering infinite, eternal treasure! – Jon Bloom

Not even a hint of immorality (Ephesians 5:3)
This won’t take long.
This notion has been quite a stirring in my lazy-Friday-morning mind. He said that “my yoke is light”. That caused me to ponder and evaluate. Apa maksud Dia (What did He mean)? Yeah, simple for the Son of God to say that. In case you’re wondering, memories of my broken (and still mending) past struck me a little this morning while i was in the loo hence this post. Thoughts in the toilet.
How is this life easy?! Put away those cheesy lines that say you’re stronger than the day before and all that. Positive and healthy, well I’m sure it is. I personally have used those to push myself on. But i’m here to twist perspectives for myself (and maybe for you too!), to boldly look back and see how deep my footsteps sunk into this muddy path with as much integrity and self-honesty that I can grab hold of. Debrief the past breaths that I’ve inhaled and cross check the cross that I carried. Why did I sink the way i did and why so deep?
Following is easy. Falling is also easy. The paradox of a Christian walk. Christ said His yoke is easy to bear. But as we speak, there’s also a lion prowling around our radius. How easy it is to cry out to God, “take this away!”, “take that away!”, laying out our own self-drafted solutions before the General, instead of it being the other way around. We expect Him to do it our way sometimes to the extent where we dictate God to dictate us with our ways. Is this your devotion?
But if i boast or complain that my life is tough, then that wouldn’t sound anywhere close to what Christ stated. Reality on the side of the mirror clearly shows that LIFE IS DIFFICULT. So how, Alex? What to do? Here’s the plan, I don’t know anything. Haha. Well, all i know is if that your affection or love for God can be, by the Spirit’s uplifting and the insertion of an integral love for Him, cause you to see other things to be light in weight, yet never denying what is real and true. Conscious to whats happening and real to the might that is Given to acknowledge out of one’s own solid “He who is in me is greater than He who is of the world” conviction.
See how deep you’ve gone into the mud and tell yourselves how heavy was your cross.
It’s a heavy cross that causes you to sink into the muddy path and it’s a light yoke that causes you to lift your feet up and move on. That’s the story of the cross and the yoke.
I don’t know what i just said, but yeah.
Drove my dad’s Honda for the first time! Pretty nice though it’ll take some time to really get the hang of it or even… be one with the car. That just sounded really stupid. But yeah, Accord with real power of dreams.
Anywho, a thought just rang in my head while I was dream-driving – the art of commenting, those that are absolutely unnecessary in particular. •.• Something I that I’m not born with a tolerable immune system to. As a matter of fact, i may even detest it. Don’t get me wrong, I love people. It’s simply that I have something on my subconscious “still learning list” – to love people unconditionally. It doesn’t take a psychologist to know how irritating comments such as those that are socially related.
Nevertheless, loving unconditionally is a freedom desperately to be lived out in hopefully, everyone’s life. :) peace to you.
If you open my refrigerator’s door, something that is seemingly self-replenishing will inevitably catch your eyes right away with its refrigerator lighting’s reflection on its colored wrappers – C.H.O.C.O.L.A.T.E.S. Yes, its a strange fact indeed. Ever since the refrigerator started to be used (i think), it’s constant inputs never seem to fail! The top shelf of the fridge is literally full of chocolates of various sorts up to, at most, 90 percent during the “good seasons”. It’s amazing that it’s colors, tastes and varieties can even go beyond domestic borders! Well, I won’t boast that I have all types here but from cheap and tasty chocolates from Germany, some slight hint of Belgium-ic treats and if my memories do me good, i think there was even an instant when chocolates from the land down under also dominated their slang in my fridge. You can figure out why i said “an instant”. :P So, what? Good to know?
Nah, as usual, my intros are trendily nonsensical and irrelevant to what I intended to say when i first signed in. Just take it like an Italian appetizer before having sushi at your Japanese restaurant. Speaking of sushis! Meet ma homies at MCKL! :D
Something they do during their pastime.
Anyways, did you know that there’s such a thing as a Beer Spa?!! Nay, I’m not referring to pubs and nightclubs. Like an actual spa with facilities like a beer Jacuzzi and straw beds for post-jacuzzi relaxation. I’m not kidding! Go google it out. It’s located in Prague.
Yeah, that’s all that i intended to say.
PS: i find jellybeans really weird in taste. Makes me go bleukkk….
So, bon appetit to you!
iOS 5 is iAWESOME!
Just sayin’, it really really is. Kicks in a whole new level of class. Just to list a few obvious features:
“Decay” is a spot
on description for my blogging! It’s like i smudged some paint over my blog’s canvas and hung it somewhere that I couldn’t even recall its position! NAICE!
On my defense it was somewhat intentional…but hey! i’m not here to rant about this white flag failure of mine! haha!
I’M BLIND! yes, folks. It’s official. Blind and broken, so much so that I walk into the tiang (Malay for “pole”) every single time when I perceived to have my pacing all worked out perfectly. – Oh! This can be much of a waste of time for you, so you can choose to be captivated by my abstract rubbish *smiles* or go off back to your facebook-ing – You get up feeling all pious and pure, then somethings fall like broken off tree branches in the midst of the torrents in your life right before your path.Walking, sometimes running, so enduring-ly with a passionate assurance that you’re in the face of His fruitful enlightenment, the Enemy slams the door in making his intrusion known, smack right in front of your eyes. What comes to mind instantly? Going for the Sword? But how confident are you to bet on your mastery in wielding it and slashing sins? Your mustard seed of faith MUST BE constantly on the growing scale, stemming to a greater inch of steel-like Shield of Faith. I observed that the simple yet sophisticated act of believing in God holistically is, to me, the greatest miracle tank that I can be and drive in this world’s terrain.

How accurate it was when Spoken of him [the Archnemesis] and of his deceitful character from its crown to its toes, from its breath to
its words! The devil never did, has not and never will change. Permanent, he never contemplated sleep as an option in its seniority of articulating its pleasurable propaganda to the pinnas of this population. His widespread predating on everyone over the ages should induce so much of intimidation! Yet evidently, worryingly, this is not so. Life is too short to live in and live out this world.
What [really] is life to you?
What sort of freedom are you living for?
Will you be restless until your life is worth publishing for decades to come?
Black and white,
the color goes for the words I type.
My perception tells of a story,
a tale four-walled by smiles and smooth journeys.
Love saw that, and motivated Himself to rain down ink,
smudging the red reality over my peaceful pink.
Forceful as it can come,
still, what more to expect from such a huge loving arm?
The Author, to me, the Artist,
He can do as He please,
I pray He authors my eyes blind,
that lust and pride may flee as the desire for Him I find.
Oh, how dearly I want myself in the timeless canyon,
Eternally sensible to you, sculptured with perfect vision.
Man, it feels good to have your life written out.
The first thing that caught my attention while I was taking the LRT wasn’t someone who wore yellow but a lady’s “fresh” newspapers from the newsletter stand distributed free of charge in the station. (YEAP, go get your newspapers for free!) I remember seeing two publications of the newspapers in her hands. Mandarin and English.
Though my Mandarin flows very well…. in the drain, I managed to observe one of the highlights pictured on the front page – the haze. There was a contrasting difference shown as two photos were displayed. One of it was taken last month – or was it in May- and the other was of course taken most recently. And yes you guessed it, the haze really is a big pain in the …. eyes! Skies! Whatever else that rhymes! and makes sense! Not only is it an eye soar, the deteriorating weather condition definitely did a great job at making my eyes soar physically. “Uncomfortable” would be the description from my side.
Where does the haze come from? I don’t really bother. Just pray that it goes away. Okay? :D
Or at least keep this world clean lah.
I can’t believe myself for the fact that I actually went for college early this morning after an interesting and rather long but short weekend break. Yeah, drove my family back to Ipoh - suppressed by the speed limit – before the break of dawn. So what’s the first thing you do when you arrive at your hometown that you’ve grown to love? You EAT! How I would love to post up photos of the fantastic foodies I had just within those 2 days, but I can’t, cos I didn’t take any. HAHA! The food there never seems to fail to captivate me .
The main purpose we drove 2 hours up north was simply to meet up again with my Danish sweethearts and of course, to visit my lovely grandfolks. Roughen up with some football with Allen and Michael AND Anna at grandpa’s driveway right after coming back from the bloating breakfast. Somehow ended up playing like psychopaths.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
But the most exciting part of these 2 days was the detour around Gopeng and further up north to the gorgeous Gua Tempurung (Tempurung Cave). Oh, we got durians on the way there as well. Some of the best durians at some really affordable price! We struck a 30 durians and manggis for only RM100 deal with the “hou yeh!” Malay uncle. Not only that, we even tasted 3 whole and different durians for free! That makes it 33 durians selling at the out of the world price of approximately RM3 per durian! FOR THE WIN! That my friends, is what i call a good government.
Oh, back to the cave! At first, I for one was quite reluctant to enter cos I wasn’t dressed for the occasion since it was like, “hey, wanna go for a drive?” kinda thing initially. But I went in anyways. HAHA! And trust me, there were no regrets. The view was stunning. The dim-powered lights pulls out a breathtaking cathedral-look out of the cave’s interior. As we quietly sneaked up to the tour ahead, the flights of stairs and pathways really makes you feel like you’re on a never-ending trail, yet very captivating. Many shapes and looks of the rock formation were pointed out and likened to various objects that you would never imagined. For example, a large crack at the side that is shaped naturally like a heart, a granite formation that looks exactly like a drumstick and all that. After about an hour and a half’s journey into the dark cave, we finally came to the climax point of our trekking, the “top of the world”. Or the highest point of the cave’s internal. The whole unplanned trip really makes you go “whoa!”.
For me, coming back for a casual and usual visit but ended up at the peak of a cave is truly the kind of itinerary I would love to expect unexpectedly every time I travel.
I really like the fact that most of the “big brothers” in news broadcasting like CNN and Al Jazeera were more concerned with the highlights on South Sudan’s Independence and freedom while Malaysia’s 9th July ongoing event was hardly given a chance of status report. Whether or not the news parties were being bias, I personally like to think that the world is simply not that interested in knowing how the current Malaysian government would react or respond to the people’s demonstration for a clean electoral system. Possibly due to all of the previous suspicious catastrophes that occurred under the nose of “Najib’s government”, inducing a strong stench of hopelessness towards the nation’s leadership.
The matter that forms clouds of questions is Barisan Nasional’s reaction towards the Bersih 2.0 rally. Even PKR’s charismatic leader, Anwar Ibrahim questioned sarcastically our PM’s guts when in the midst of the march to accept a naturally positive movement by the people. Wondering whether Najib was too scared. haha, I like this man. You should see the way he puts it out so simply. But seriously, why should the government be so negative towards the people’s cry for justice and fairness in the electoral system? All they seek is a clean election in the future. He (Najib) should’ve accepted this with open arms rather than pointing his hypocritical 1 Malaysia finger everywhere. Isn’t that one of the core foundations that a democratic nation such as Malaysia should stand and run by? If yes, WHY ARE THEY FIGHTING IT? Utilizing the government’s “For Rough Use”? …. What I meant was the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU). Unless our government was and is never for a true democracy or maybe the guns in the government just never understood democracy for all these 54 years running the nation. The unnecessary violence exerted really puts Najib’s true colors into perspectives.
Oh, that’s right. I have another question, should any blue-blooded Malaysian royalties choose to parade together with its people, would they also be sprayed with tear gas, clubbed with batons and detained with handcuffs? I mean, they HAVE to dress in the traditional royal yellow. Moreover, being a prince or sultan doesn’t separate them from being a citizen of Malaysia and thus also being under the so-called “law” that Najib enforced through the FRU. So, would they? My question is whether the government treat its people with the same level of reverence and respect as towards the royal families, whom they pledge their undivided allegiance to. A nation is no longer run by its people when the government denies and shuts the voice for a clean democracy. Shouldn’t the government accept what the united people have to say since it claimed and promised to stand by the rock of democracy?
While the tiny island of Singapore can enable its government to distribute gifts and bonuses of cash to its citizens, our government who is managing a land with petroleum, oil palm, rubber, minerals and energy on the other hand can only tell its citizens to wait for more money for development. This, by the way, takes place while our self-claimed “first lady” Datin Seri Rosmah is flying all over the world to indulge in thousands of branded handbags and accessories, with taxes paid from both the rich and also the poor. So tell me, how is this justified? How do you expect the people to understand the state’s lack of capability when the Chief Minister’s daughter is floating in billions in a land where the grass is said to be greener?
All the people are asking for is for an answer to all these.
I never cared about politics…until there was a problem.
